Funeral of Mro. Carmel Muscat

The Choral and Orchestral Society ‘Maria Bambina’ honoured and remembered Mro. Carmel Muscat yesterday 18th May 2012 at his funeral. The Committee and members of our Society saluted Mro. Carmel Muscat for the last time in front of the Club and took part in the funeral procession which was also accompanied by the La Vittoria Band playing funeral marches. Our choir and orchestra took part in the funeral mass which was celebrated by the Parish Priest Fr Joe Caruana, at the Mellieha Parish Church, performing the ‘Missa Requiem’ composed by Mro. Carmel Muscat himself and under the direction of Mro. Kenneth Fenech. Mro. Carmel Muscat was buried in the club’s tomb at the cemetery ‘Omm il-Hniena’. The Committee and members of the Choral and Orchestral Society ‘Maria Bambina’ give their condolences to his family, friends and relatives.
