Christmas Eve – Mellieha Parish Church

Christmas is always a busy time for everyone especially when you are involved in a voluntary organisation such as ours. The planning, preparation and long hours of rehearsing all pay off on the actual day and this was evident during the 2 activities held on Christmas eve by our Society. Before midnight mass the Junior Choir and Orchestra, under the direction of Michael Bonanno, performed various Christmas hymns.
For this year’s Christmas midnight mass the senior Choir and Orchestra took part with Gaudana’s Christmas mass ‘Natali Domini’ a mass which we have not heard in our church in the last seventeen years. The choir was prepared by Carmen Caruana. The Choir and Orchestra were under the direction of Mro. Kenneth Fenech.
