The Society believes in education as one of its main building blocks in promoting music appreciation thus offering lessons in violin, viola, cello, clarinet, flute, horn and piano, voice and theory of music. Most of these students then sit for their exams provided by the Associated Boards of the Royal School of Music.
A Junior Choir and Orchestra was set up providing the students with the opportunity to express their musical talents and put to practice what they are being taught. On the 1st of August a concert is annually organised where these youngsters have a chance to excel themselves. These students also perform during Christmas with several performances throughout this festive season.
Currently the Junior Orchestra is under the direction of Michael Bonanno and the Choir is under the direction of Susanne Bonello. Weekly rehearsals take place at the Club. Those who are interested in joining the Junior Choir and Orchestra (7-16 years) are encouraged to do so by sending an email on info(at)choirandorchestra.org or by calling 79521970.
